Person-Centred Counselling
A space to be heard, accepted, and understood
Person-centred counselling offers a calm, supportive space to explore whatever feels difficult right now. It’s based on the belief that we all have within us the capacity to grow, heal, and make sense of our experiences — when we’re met with empathy, acceptance, and genuine understanding. Rather than giving advice or direction, person-centred counselling invites you to explore at your own pace. It’s a space where you can speak freely, without fear of being judged, and begin to reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been silenced, criticised, or forgotten.
How Counselling Can Help
You might be considering counselling because you feel anxious, low, or stuck — or because you notice familiar patterns repeating, such as difficulties in relationships, self-doubt, or a sense of not being enough. Person-centred counselling can support you to:
• Understand yourself and your emotions more deeply
• Recognise and shift unhelpful patterns or behaviours
• Build self-acceptance and confidence
• Develop healthier, more authentic relationships
• Feel calmer, clearer, and more connected to who you are
Counselling doesn’t promise quick fixes. But it offers something more lasting — the chance to feel genuinely heard, accepted, and understood. And from that space, real change can begin.
My Approach
I believe that everyone deserves to be held, heard, and unjudged.
My own journey through personal experiences of mental and physical health challenges has shaped the way I work. These experiences have deepened my empathy and my belief that we all need a safe space to be met with kindness rather than judgement.
Through my training, personal counselling, and continued learning, I’ve discovered the power of acceptance: how being allowed to simply be can bring freedom, peace, and growth. This understanding underpins every session I offer.
I aim to create a space where you can begin to trust that who you are is enough and where you can gently explore what’s holding you back, with support and compassion.
“When I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” — Carl Rogers
